OUR STORY
I’m Youngjoo, a licensed home baker based in Solon, OHIO.
I was an architect several years ago, but after becoming a mom, I wanted to give my kids good food with the best ingredients, so I start to bake. Because of my desire to bake,
I attended pastry school at the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in the Los Angeles Campus.
After ICE, I worked in Milo and Olive which is one of the bakeries with Zoe Nathan who was a semifinalist for the James Beard Award for Outstanding Pastry Chef in 2009, and a semifinalist for the James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur in 2018 and also earned first Michelin Star.
Everything served at Patissier Joe is made on-site, using the best, organic ingredients, including organic flour and pantry staples, and organic dairy, and poultry.
